Spring Break, Dancing, and Crockpot's!

So this past week was a busy one, for me at least.  Ballet Showcase had our performance on friday and saturday, which meant we got to rehearse all week until about 10pm.  This made for very, long, tiring days!!! Unfortunately, Jordan was on spring break so he got to spend his days entertaining himself, or golfing with jeff. We were sad we couldn't take a road trip like we did last spring break.  The weekend was busy with performing and hanging out with my parents, who were so wonderful to come see medance!! It was fun to spend some time with them.

Sunday was once again very busy.  It started with a phone call from the stake presidency, wanting to meet with us after church.  We were very perplexed and scared for what the meeting might be for.  We went to church, and taught our sunday school lesson which was a success.  After church we headed to our meeting.  The 2nd counselor took us into his office and asked a lot of questions, mainly about our lives.  He gave us some good council and then ended with saying, "well, thanks for coming in, i just wanted to get to know you." Jordan and I left the meeting very confused but somewhat relieved.  We then went to have dinner with my cousins and watched the princess and the frog, which was super cute.  We ended the day with watching the series premier of Life, AMAZING.
And I just want to finish this post by saying, i used my crockpot for the first time last night!!! I made a delicious roasted chicken :)

New Discoveries!

Jordan and I made some new wonderful discoveries this weekend...
1. La Perm
So we went to pets mart on saturday just for fun and while we were there we discovered our new favorite      kind of cat. It was a La Perm, she had almost no hair except for on her paws and the tip of her tail. To be quite honest she looked like she had just been pulled out of the dumpster. Nonetheless she was super sweet and we decided we want a cat just like her.

2. Susie's Deals
Ever since Jordan and I decided to only give ourselves each twenty dollars a month for personal spending I figured my recent habit of buying clothes was shattered! However, on Saturday we came across a store called Susie's deals.  It's about as white trash as they come, but if you dig there are some great bargains and everything is $5.99 OR LESS!! They take over-stock from just about every clothing store you can imagine. So Jordan got a new jacket and I got a new scarf :)

3. Family Relations Class
Our ward has a Family Relations class which Jordan and I were Completely unaware of until Sunday when we were called to be teachers for the class.  We feel a little inadequate seeing that we have only been married for 2 months and we'll be teaching couples who have been married for up to 6 years. But we are very excited and both of us love to teach!

Quick summary...

Well I'm just going to give a quick summary of the last two months....
Dec. 19th
 We got MARRIED
Dec.20th-28th
We drove from Albuquerque to Utah, at which time we got pulled over for going 20 over, but the cop let us off because we were newlyweds. Then we flew from Utah to Portland, where we had about a five hour layover, then we flew to Hawaii. We stayed in Hawaii for 7 days where we went hiking, swimming, did a lot of bus riding and spent a lot of money on the over priced food, and did a whole bunch of other fun things!!! Then we flew back to Utah :( we were sad to leave paradise, but excited to get started with our new life.
Dec.29th-Jan. 3rd
We moved into our new apartment, returned wedding gifts, celebrated new years, and bought everything we needed with our gift cards.
Jan.4th-Feb5th
We started school, our schedule usually consists of leaving home at 7:40 am and not getting home till 7:00 or 8:00 pm :(.  But we have made time to have a date every Friday night which has been so nice and what I look forward to the most every week.  Our Saturdays consist of rehearsal for me, work for Jordan, homework, laundry, temple, and running errands.  Sundays we can finally take a breather. We had our second reception. We got health insurance, car insurance, and renters insurance.  I changed my name and am still trying to get a new drivers license. We got a Costco card! Jordan got a job offer to be a representative in Taiwan for a Japanese company, we're still trying to make a decision.
And now for this past weekend Feb. 6th-7th
Saturday was busy but still fun, I went to rehearsal while Jordan took care of the laundry, so sweet.  We went to target, costco, bed bath and beyond, pets mart, buy low, and susie's deals. Jordan went to work and I hung out with my sister who was visiting.  Then we went hot tubbing and watched dream girls, Jordan is in love with the movie!

I Love You Jordan!! part II

So Jordan is just so extremely wonderful and I need to blog about him again. Every day I spend with him just gets more and more wonderful. He is so perfect for me and so sweet to me. On Friday he sent me the most perfect email, it was so sweet and it almost made me cry. On Friday night, he took me on a wonderful date, and even though I was really grumpy he went out of his way to do whatever it took to make me happy, and he did make me happy. He designed a beautiful ring for me, it was quite an ordeal but he worked it all out and I love it! On Saturday he offered to stay in the Library all day so I could use his car! On Sunday he drove all the way down from alpine in the very scary weather just to be with me when I had my interview from the stake president for a temple recommend. This morning he was late to a study group so he could drive me to work. What a sweetheart!!! I love you Jordan!

Crazy Wonderful Weekend!!!

So I had quite an eventful weekend. Starting on Thursday I had the wonderful opportunity of having a mole removed. The location of this mole was rather unfortunate, and I had to have stitches! It was a rather awkward and painful experience. This same day I was supposed to dance for my ballet final, well because of the location of the stitches and the fact that my whole leg was numb, I wasn't able to dance. My teachers were understanding and my grade shouldn't be affected...
On Friday I worked all day, and for lunch we had a white elephant gift exchange, I was extremely lucky and I got a sentsy, which will be perfect to go in Our new apartment.
Friday night was magnificent. Jordan picked me up for a date and we went to Tacanos. Unfortunately there was an hour and a half wait, so to kill the time Jordan took me to get a caramel apple and then took me to target to pick out a new pair of shoes. After we ate, Jordan took me on a Christmas Cruise down provo river, the river was lined with christmas lights and they played christmas music. It was so much fun!! After this we went on a quest to find a swing set we played on exactly a year ago were Jordan was planning on proposing with the real ring. After searching for an hour we couldn't find it so we gave up and went home. By this time I kind of had a hunch that Jordan was planning on asking me and this made me really excited. So when we got to my apartment I told him that I didn't need a huge elaborate proposal, I just wanted the ring already. He seemed displeased with this and we called it a night. He knocked on my door five minutes later with a box in his hand. He handed it to me and I opened it to find nothing inside, then he got down on one knee and pulled out the BEAUTIFUL ring from his pocket and asked me to marry him again. It was really sweet! and I LOVE my ring!! Thank you Jordan!!!
On saturday I went to a relief society breakfast, it was delicious. Then I had a ballet showcase party at my apartment, which was way fun. I spent the whole rest of the day running so many errands and getting my hair done while Jordan was doing homework and then having a bachelor party.
On sunday I got my temple recommend, it was very exciting! I can't wait till Friday when I receive my endowments and then Saturday when I will be sealed to Jordan! Later I went to Alpine to hear Jordan give a talk, he did a wonderful job. We then went back to Provo so Jordan could work on homework while I began packing. Around eight thirty I left Jordan at my apartment so I could return a red box movie. After I dropped the movie off I realized it was ward prayer time. I decided I would go since it was my last sunday. Well I didn't tell Jordan this was my plan. Fifteen minutes went by and Jordan began to get worried. He tried calling me, but I didn't have my phone. He went outside and saw that the car was there and was worried that I had walked to the red box. So he began walking to find me, he got really worried when he got all the way to red box and there was no sign of me. In the meantime I returned to my apartment to find him not there, and i had six missed phone calls from him. We finally found each other and he was relieved that I was ok. I'm sorry Jordan!!

I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!

So on October 24th, exactly 364 days since mine and Jordan's first date, Jordan popped the question!!!!!! Yes it finally happened!!! After a year of uncertainties, a few break ups, and me almost submitting my mission papers, we decided to get married. I'll admit at times it was really hard for me to be patient, which is why we broke up a few times, but it was soooooooo worth it!!! Jordan and I have learned so much over the past year and we wouldn't have had it happen any other way. We are so excited to be married in the ABQ New Mexico Temple on December 19th 2009!! And we are looking forward to building a life together and learn even more about each other. I love you Jordan!!

Ok, planning a wedding has been quite different then I expected, and its been an adjustment.
An apartment...
So once Jordan and I decided we were going to get married I immediately started looking for a place to live, MAN it was stressful!! married housing is expensive, and good apartments are few and far between. However, after a lot of searching we were lucky to find a good one!! Its a little more pricey than what we wanted, but it is furnished, which will be very nice!!! We are excited to have our own little apartment together. Jordan even bought a picture of Christ to hang up and books to put on our book shelf, he's so cute :)
A Dress....
Oh boy, finding a dress was soooooo stressful!!! I went to about five places to try on dresses and tried on about 20 at each place! I hated almost all of them, and the ones that I kinda liked were WAY over priced!! I can't believe how much someone will charge for a dress you'll only wear once! Well one day I was looking online and I found the exact dress that I wanted for $170!! it was almost too good to be true! the only problem is that its from a little company in China, so I'm a taking a huge risk trusting them to make it right and trusting it will get here on time. I really hope it works out!!!

Honeymoon...
So Jordan's dad promised all of his kids that if they get married in the temple he would send them to Hawaii for a week!!! So we're going to hawaii for our honeymoon and I am sooooo excited!! Its going to be a perfect break from the cold weather here in Utah.
Registering...
Jordan and I had so much fun registering, in face I think Jordan had more fun than I did. We registered at Target and Bed Bath and Beyond, I hope we get some good stuff.
My Ring...
So I am currently wearing a plastic ring because Jordan is designing the real one. He said it should be done in a few weeks and I can't wait!!

Dreams do Come ture!!

So I've come to the conclusion that I can predict the future with my dreams!!!! Here are some Examples...
The night before my sister had her first baby, I dreamed that she gave birth and that it was a girl, and it happened the next day
One night I dreamed that I was riding in an elevator and it started falling and it crashed and all the glass for the mirrors shattered. The next day when I came home from school I found the elevator to my dorm room was being worked on, they were replacing all the mirrors, thus they were shattering the old ones to remove them!
One night I dreamed that my parents car got broken into and a few weeks later it did!
One night i dreamed that my previous room mate Adrienne called me, that my other room mate, Sarah, got engaged and that Jordan and I got back together. The next day, Adrienne did call me. Sarah didn't get engaged but she told me how here mom was looking at places in Maryland to hold a wedding reception. And a few weeks later, Jordan and I DID get back together!!
And the most recent one...I dreamed that my bike got stolen...a few weeks later it went missing...while it was missing I had two dreams that I found it...and today, I found it!!

WOW!! i have super human powers! I'm like Joseph of Egypt!
